More work with the 32 will decrease the threat

6_16_Monday--light day, bike loop and Z Health

Light day, not too much sleep last night

22 min Z Health outside in the grass over lunch (down at the U of MN today all day)
did some sprints barefoot at 30%--working on tall spine and arm motion
Hamstrings a little sore from KB session
worked lots of rotation and bone rhythm--much improved overall

felt pretty good all day considering tons of seated computer work

Bike loop at night

Z rehab work 4x/s day today

breath hold :58 seconds---seems like it correlates to how much sleep I've had the night before, last night I only got 7 hours

Bobble head experience
---on my way to water ski, I finally got virtually all the tension out of my neck!!!
It felt like a bobble head doll---could move it in any direction with almost no tension
amazing feeling! Whoo ha. So this is what normal should be--WOW.

last session was 41 only!

I) standing bicep curl (strict, tall spine)

down a bit from last session's 36 but not too worried--really wanted to hit the DL numbers

DL was a big improvement after last times session

volume (total)= 16, 745 lbs
vol/time= 18.61 lbs/sec

Overall very happy with performance increase. CRF not challenged until about 10 min into set, left knee was fine, could feel a little tension over the knee cap at the end but very minor

6_10 Tues water ski and Z Health





Z Health 30 min at lunch

Got to go water skiing salmon style for the first time this year! Whoo ha.

Special thanks to my buddy kyle for the pull behind his boat.
Took 3 different runs and it felt pretty good. I finally got one turn in where it felt as good as I imagined it would be----just the perfect arc and virtually no friction through the water! Whooo ha.

I love my HO ASX Carbon ski---very fun!

Need to keep my arm tucked at my side from looking at the pics

Felt good the next day--just a little soreness in glutes and hams

Rt low back was a bit tight again

Still having right eye tracking problems (still major
suppression in it)

Did more scar work/release work (scar from open
heart surgery when I was 4.5 years old)

Fascial fold holding on the left side down and to the left
was best

Vestibular system may be off now and connected to eye
tracking problem

Drill
Nerve glide for left shoulder (hard to shrug shoulder up before)
freed up shoulder nicely!

Fascial/superficial hold of tissue on lower left of scar in the
down and out position with high speed head movements
Eyes open first and then eyes closed
--basically "messing up" vestibular system and then closing eyes
(cut visual info) and left with only proprioceptive work

Gait cleaned up nicely (4/4--whoo ha) and felt great

Tape tissue in place while moving around

Frankie work
Worked with Frankie Faires on KB and DL work
--learned new stuff!
--test everything
--exhale on exertion
--breath at rest points
--snatch--opposite arm follows (same for swing)
for less tension

DL
As I suspected, my tib/fib at my ankle is not moving
correctly
Knee comes in slightly (probably from ankle again)
rt lower leg is rotated, tissue is tight

Slept 9.5 hours, sleep mode set at 11 hours
Felt great the next day!! Back to normal! Whoo ha.
Can't wait to train again

Hung out a Z Health Day 6 all day--learned more cool stuff
Got to bed at 2:30am and up relatively early again
6.5 hrs sleep, woke up to alarm

No energy to train, collapsed into bed early
Slept 10 hours (recovery mode)
felt pretty good the next day, but still tired a bit

5_28_ to 6/1 OFF ACSM presentation and conf

Body is starting to feel better, still tired
Sleeping with Earth Pulse unit under pillow--seems to help
Using Recover mode as always

Travel to Indianapolis for Am College of Sports Med (ACSM)
litterally up at 7am running around all day until later in the day
tons of great info!!! See my other blog for updates soon

4 people in one hotel, so slept on the floor one night
Overall felt good despite crazy travel
Came back late on the flight and tired

My body is very pissed off at me
rt low back (QL) is lit up like a Christmas tree
L upper neck just as pissed
pain of about a 3-4 on a 1-10 scale and comes and goes
abdominal fascia is super tight
thoracic feels like it has been replaced with a steel rod--frozen

ZHealth 30-60 minutes each day and helps quite a bit, but can't quite
get pain to 1 or less. fascia still tight
Wobenzyme 6-10 tabs a time 2-3xs a day between meals
Monday started better nutrition (back to normal food)
